Description:The Company is a worldwide leader in the air cleaning industry. Production, sub-assembling and sales & marketing facilities are located throughout the world including the Netherlands, Sweden and United States. Under its own brand and private labels, over 80% of the Company's products are exported worldwide through an extensive network of distributors.Due to rapid growth, in 2007 the Company is further expanding its North American presence. As part of this planned North American expansion, the Company is seeking a new Regional Manager -Midwest to be based out of or near Chicago. This newly created position will be responsible for building the Company's business in the Midwest Region of the United States (core focus: Illinois, Western Indiana, Eastern Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin -also some travel into North & South Dakota). Qualifications: * Preferred Bachelor of Science degree within Mechanical Engineering; extra commercial/business education desired. * Successful applicants will have a minimum 7 years experience within industrial air cleaning, filtration and/or HVAC environment within a technical field sales and/or customer service position. * Proven technical project management experience and sales success are a must. * Additional knowledge of industrial and vehicle exhaust applications including welding, cutting, metal fabrication and machining processes preferred. * Knowledge of regulations and guidelines concerning pollution within the industrial and vehicle exhaust environment is desired. * Entrepreneurial spirit is key to success. * Solution minded, quick learner who has ability to work across functions. * Hands-on, self-assured, customer and service centric professional who has a track record of developing long lasting relationships in industry. * Work independently and as a team player * Capacity to think strategically about the direction of the business and prioritize assignments with minimal supervision in his/her region. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Advance knowledge of computers. Job Description/Responsibilities: * Responsible for building business in Midwest Region, meeting the company's Industrial and VEX sales goals and objectives. * Build, retain and successfully manage relationships with existing and new Industrial and VEX distributors, partners and industry networks. * Keep abreast of and train partners and distributors on solutions and relevant indoor air quality codes and regulations. * Visit end-user sites, as needed, to research and qualify Industrial and VEX system sales opportunities. * Work with the company's Engineered Solutions Team (EST), in quoting and drafting optimal solution designs. * Present sales proposals and quotations for engineered solutions to customers' air quality problems, and close sales for such systems. * Work with EST in coordinating and managing turn-key engineered projects. Salary $70k-$75k per annum, plus commission Full expense account (Travel, Gas and Entertainment). Comprehensive family medical package.
